Tell Me Your Story {Day 1:Story}

I love listening to a storyteller. Especially when the story is about their life. Childhood games, memories of mom baking, dad taking them to the ranch, or running around with their friends. Watching their eyes light up as they see the memories flash through their mind brings a smile to my heart.

Do you have a story to tell?

I sit at the table and take notes as my parent's tell my family names and where they grew up. Stories fascinate me! I wonder, who will I tell me story to at the kitchen table? I have no children to pass wisdom to or share stories that will make them laugh. I may just write it down and someone someday will find it and they may be entertained by it.

Years ago, I had a story in my heart. It was about a boy living the ultimate adventure, life. He met his best friend and spent many hours with her under their favorite tree. She was a storyteller, he was not. I wonder what is next on their adventure and how it  will end.
